Choose the right document before editing
Shopify’s help documentation distinguishes shipping labels, packing slips and customs forms, and explains how eligible workflows print them from the admin. These documents are not interchangeable. Start by identifying which pages you want to print.
Availability of Shopify shipping-label features depends on the relevant carrier and fulfilment setup. This website does not purchase postage or make an otherwise unavailable carrier service available.
Use the original label format where possible
If the original export already matches your printer and contains only the label, extra cropping may not be necessary. You can upload multiple exports together to create one combined label download.
When a readable invoice section is combined with shipping information, try the Label cropper and inspect the result. Do not treat a packing slip or customs declaration as an unwanted tax invoice. The tool flags layouts it cannot confidently classify, and you can choose the required section manually.
Keep supporting documents together deliberately
A useful batch organisation separates the file you attach to a parcel from files used for packing or records. Name your downloaded outputs so you can tell them apart. The merger combines all pages in the selected file sequence; it does not automatically reconcile them to Shopify orders.
If you reorder files, the existing output links are cleared. Process the batch again to create a download that reflects the new order.
Confirm the printer settings
Shopify’s printing guidance tells users to select a paper size matching the printer. Apply the same discipline when printing a PDF prepared here. Only Label follows the selected crop, while A4 places four labels on a standard sheet.
Check a sample after any format change. Barcodes should remain complete and the label should remain legible. Use Shopify’s current documentation and your carrier’s instructions for the documents needed with the shipment.
